Lakes & Lancs Trophy

The Lakes and Lancs. Trophy is a relay event run for the youth categories.

Teams of five riders will compete in a 1 lap per rider relay race

Team members must be notified in writing to race officials prior to the race commencing

Teams must include at least one Under 12 rider and one female rider

Team members can vary from event to event

Riders must be from the same 1^st claim club (as indicated on their race licence)

If a team cannot get 5 riders, up to one rider may be permitted to ride twice, providing that there is a changeover after each lap (i.e. he/she cannot ride 2 consecutive laps). An Under 16 male rider cannot ride twice

Teams cannot contain more than two Under 16 male riders

Up to one female guest rider is permitted per team

Composite teams are permitted, although they will not be eligible for the L&L Trophy Award

Points will be awarded as follows – 60 points for the first team, 59 for the second etc.

The team with the most points at the end of the series will be declared the winners.
